Ok yes, our dog Larry killed our lawn too so I talked to the vet and he gave me some pills to give him and it worked. I bought mine at Petco (I think in the back, center of the store). It's a pill you give daily called "Green Grass" by Nutri-Vet. They don't affect the dog at all, no change in any way in their health or behavior. Actually, Larry looks foward to getting his every day. It's like a treat!
Good luck! Having a dog is the best, but they sure are a pain sometimes. For example, Larry is having a $1000 knee surgery tomorrow. Oh the things we do for our pets :)
I know that they have meds to change the chemical balance of the dogs pee - as I just read from what Erin said we are on the same wave length. Good luck!
